Thanks to its 100% natural origin, its effectiveness as an osmoprotectant and biostimulant, and its ability to blend easily with other ingredients, BetaSol<\/strong> enhances crop tolerance to abiotic stresses such as drought, low temperatures, or high UV radiation.<\/p>\n

Challenge or Initial Need<\/h5>\n

\n At Agroalkimia<\/strong>, we faced an increasingly demanding agricultural reality marked by adverse climatic conditions that repeat year after year: extreme temperatures, drought, low light, salinity, and intense UV-B radiation. This situation limited crop efficiency and threatened yields. Therefore, we needed a functional ingredient that would strengthen our plant nutrition solutions, helping crops withstand abiotic stress without compromising the sustainability of our agricultural practices.<\/p>\n

The main challenge we aimed to solve involved various forms of salt and water stress, exacerbated by the effects of climate change. By acting as an osmolyte, BetaSol<\/strong> regulates water influx and efflux in the cytoplasm, preventing the denaturation of functional proteins. Each betaine molecule carries up to 3.6 water molecules<\/strong><\/em>, which is crucial in scenarios of water deficit or high salinity.\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
