Before joining Emsa, he developed his career in technical and commercial environments, gaining a solid understanding of products, markets and relationships with customers and suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>After one year as part of the Emsa team as Product Manager and with an in-depth knowledge of the business, <strong>Alberto now assumes the leadership of the Performance Business Unit<\/strong>. In this interview, he shares his vision of the company, the value it brings to the market, and the challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/emsaquimica.com\/en\/sectores\/cosmetics\/\">personal care<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/emsaquimica.com\/en\/sectores\/detergency\/\">home care<\/a><\/strong> sectors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #62b5e5;\">After one year working at Emsa, what would you say defines the company\u2019s way of working and what do you value most about the team?<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<strong>Emsa is defined by a collaborative and customer-oriented way of working<\/strong>. We stand out for our agility and for smooth communication between teams, which facilitates decision-making and project progress. What I value most is the balance between professionalism and closeness: an environment where ideas are shared, collaboration is encouraged and the best solution is always sought.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #62b5e5;\">In your day-to-day work, what do you think differentiates Emsa in its relationship with suppliers and partners?<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Our strength lies in transparency and a long-term vision. <strong>We do not seek transactional relationships, but partnerships in which both parties grow<\/strong>. Emsa acts as a technical and commercial partner, becoming deeply involved in understanding products, applications and market trends to generate real value throughout the entire chain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #62b5e5;\">You now assume the leadership of the Performance Business Unit. How do you approach this new challenge and what motivates you most about this stage?<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I approach it with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility. Over the past year, I have gained an in-depth understanding of the business and team dynamics, and now the objective is to consolidate that growth from a more global perspective.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I am especially motivated by the opportunity to support the team\u2019s development, drive new product lines and continue strengthening our position in markets<\/strong> where innovation and sustainability clearly set the direction.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #62b5e5;\">The Performance Business Unit has a strategic role within Emsa. What would you say are its main strengths today?<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I would highlight three key aspects: a <strong>portfolio of top-tier principals, a very solid technical base and a strong service-oriented approach<\/strong> that differentiates us.<\/p>\n<p>We have the ability to translate complex developments into practical solutions for formulators, which makes us a strategic partner rather than just a distributor. We provide agile solutions to customers and, at the same time, we are honest and transparent when we cannot meet certain needs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #62b5e5;\">On a personal level, how would you define your way of working and what do you consider key to leading projects and teams?<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I like to work with <strong>closeness and clarity<\/strong>. I believe teams perform best when there are clearly defined common objectives and open communication.<\/p>\n<p>For me, <strong>leadership means listening, supporting and giving autonomy<\/strong>, while maintaining an analytical and results-oriented mindset, <strong>without losing sight of the human element that makes everything work<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h6><strong><span style=\"color: #62b5e5;\">To finish, a curiosity: beyond your professional role, what do you usually do to disconnect outside of work and which hobbies cannot be missing in your free time?<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I really enjoy spending time with friends and family, discovering new places and disconnecting through outdoor activities.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I can, <strong>I enjoy skiing, as well as reading and doing sports<\/strong>, which help me maintain balance and recharge my energy.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We will continue sharing new voices from the team, because we believe that
