RUCOSIL® B-TF

Description

RUCOSIL® B-TF is an aqueous emulsion of modified polysiloxane resin designed as a co-binder for silicone resin paints and plasters. It provides excellent water repellency while maintaining high water vapour permeability, allowing façade protection without blocking substrate breathability. It is especially suitable for high-performance exterior coatings, where it helps reduce moisture absorption, soiling and coating degradation. In addition, it is solvent-free, alkali-resistant and compliant with ZDHC Gateway Level 3.

Reduces water absorption in façade paints and plasters, contributing to long-lasting moisture protection.
Allows the substrate to maintain breathability, preventing internal moisture accumulation.
Improves coating performance against rain and moisture shortly after application.
Its hydrophobic behaviour helps minimise the adhesion of dirt particles to the surface.
