Architectural coating formulations increasingly require resin technologies that provide the right balance between durability, stability, pigment compatibility and application performance.
Within Wanhua’s waterborne solutions for architectural coatings, the ARCHSOL range includes different emulsions designed to meet the requirements of both interior and exterior paint formulations.
At Emsa Tecnología Química, we work with several ARCHSOL technologies for architectural applications, including ARCHSOL 8042E, ARCHSOL 8042S, ARCHSOL 8330 and ARCHSOL 8061.
Emulsions for different architectural coating requirements
- ARCHSOL 8042E is an anionic styrene-acrylic emulsion developed for interior and exterior architectural paints. It offers excellent scrub resistance, high water resistance and outstanding pigment wetting, helping formulators achieve stable systems with excellent colorant compatibility.
- ARCHSOL 8042S is designed for waterborne architectural formulations requiring a balanced combination of application performance, mechanical properties and formulation stability.
- For flexible exterior applications, ARCHSOL 8330 has been specifically developed for roof coatings. This emulsion provides fast early water resistance, excellent dirt pick-up resistance and good mechanical performance in demanding outdoor applications.
- ARCHSOL 8061 is a pure acrylic emulsion developed for high-performance exterior paints. It stands out for its excellent dirt pick-up resistance, fast early water resistance and outstanding compatibility with colorants.
The ARCHSOL range enables the development of architectural coatings adapted to different technical requirements, for both interior and exterior applications.
Thanks to their balance of durability, formulation stability and application performance, these technologies are suitable for architectural coatings where long-term performance and consistent application properties are essential.
At Emsa Tecnología Química, we provide specialized technical support to help our customers develop and optimize waterborne architectural coating formulations.
