Emsa to distribute KMT’s range of polymers in Spain, Portugal and Morocco

We are starting the year with new additions to our product range and introducing you to our new representative.

KMT Polymers are world leaders in the manufacture of high quality, high performance dispersant polymers used primarily in the formulation of water reducers and dispersants for the concrete admixture industry, drywall, textiles, leather tanning, pulp and paper, agricultural chemicals, ceramics, dyes, emulsion polymerization and other specific applications.

Thanks to the agreement reached between both companies, EMSA will be the official distributor of KMT’s product range in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

This range includes two main products and their respective families:

POLYCARBOXYLATES PCENEX:

To obtain different final properties in concrete and can even be mixed with each other to obtain great synergies.

  • PCENEX 111: Very high range water-reducing polycarboxylate ether (PCE) polymer with considerable consistency retention that is specially designed for ready mix concrete (RMC) applications in mild climates. Technology 1.
  • PCENEX 777: Polycarboxylate Ether Polymer (PCE) very high range water reducer with considerable consistency retention that is specially designed for ready mix concrete (RMC) applications in mild climates. Technology 2.
  • PCENEX 303: Polycarboxylate Ether Polymer (PCE) produced specifically for maximum consistency durations and/or to obtain consistency retentions in hot climates.
  • PCENEX 4672: Polycarboxylate Ether Polymer (PCE) specifically designed for precast concrete applications. This polymer has high water reduction performance, but does not provide slump/consistency retention, with its primary use being for the production of precast concrete.
NAPHTHALEN SULFONATES NAFNEX:

The various chemical properties of NAFNEX allow the production of gypsum slurries with a low water/gypsum ratio, promote dispersion and increase flowability. Main use in the manufacture of plasterboard panels. Widely used in the manufacture of plasterboard panels and also in construction, textile, leather, ceramics and the agrochemical sector.

  • NAFNEX Na 1050: Liquid naphthalene sulfonate – sodium salt (NaNFS).
  • NAFNEX Na 1050 FF: Liquid naphthalene sulfonate – sodium salt (NaNFS).
  • NAFNEX Ca 1050: Liquid naphthalene sulfonate – calcium salt (CaNFS).
  • NAFNEX Ca 1050 FF: Liquid naphthalene sulfonate – calcium salt (sin formaldehyde).
