At Emsa, we have renewed our EcoVadis Silver Medal, achieving an overall score of 75 out of 100 and reaching the 86th percentile among companies assessed worldwide.
This result improves on the 85th percentile achieved in 2025 and recognises the strength of our sustainability management system within an increasingly demanding assessment framework.
EcoVadis is an international corporate sustainability assessment platform. Its methodology considers the specific characteristics of each organisation and analyses the information provided through policies, actions, indicators and supporting documentation.
The assessment covers four areas:
- Environment
- Labour and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable procurement
Retaining our Silver Medal does not mean that the work is complete. The assessment enables us to understand our position, recognise the progress we have made and identify the areas in which we still need to improve.
One of our next priorities is to strengthen the management of our value chain and sustainable procurement. Over the coming years, we will work to integrate these criteria more systematically into our purchasing processes and supplier relationships.
This recognition is the result of the involvement of everyone at Emsa. From our different areas of responsibility, we all contribute to integrating environmental, social and governance criteria into our daily activities.
We will continue reviewing our processes, measuring our performance and making informed decisions to make committed chemistry more accessible.
Because moving forward also means assessing, learning and improving.
