World Environment Day will be celebrated on June 5. This day, directed by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), was established to motivate people to become active agents of sustainable development and thus ensure a more prosperous and secure future.
At Emsa, we wanted to celebrate it with the youngest members of the family by organizing the first edition of the “We Care” by EMSA Drawing Award. The aim of this contest was to raise awareness among our children about the importance of protecting the natural environment and to commit to sustainable development.
The result has been amazing! All the drawings we received perfectly represent the spirit of this day. These little ones, with their creativity and their way of expressing their concern about environmental issues, inspire us to be better and to do more to reduce the risks that threaten the planet.
Congratulations to our winner Claudia Rios Carrillo! She is only 2 years old and her “Dolphin trapped in plastic bag” has won the first prize.
Thanks to all the great little artists for participating and giving us hope!
