Emsa participates in the World Cleanup Day

On the occasion of World Cleanup Day our team organized a cleanup group around our central warehouse located in La Pobla de Claramunt (Barcelona).

World Cleanup Day is a great civic movement that unites 191 countries for a cleaner planet. During the month of September, volunteers from all over the world join together to remove trash from our planet, cleaning up waste from our beaches, rivers, forests and streets.

We have joined this initiative by creating the group ‘Emsa: We Care‘ within the World Cleanup Day organization in which about 20 members of the Emsa team participated.

Our volunteers managed to collect 203 kg of waste, mainly plastic and packaging that were properly recycled.

We know that there is no planet B, so we are very proud that our team collaborates to address the global problem of waste and build a new and sustainable world.
